Ross Stores Inc Finalised Settlement Agreement for Class Action Employment Suit

Ross Stores finalized a settlement agreement as they had been sued in class action by their store and assistant managers.

The company was sued for improperly classifying their staff as exempt for overtime. This has been a breach of Californian labor laws.

The esimtated settlement amount is $9 million and will be confirmed when a preliminary settlement is reached in this matter.

The case was filed in the California Superior Court in San Bernardino County.
